Modular acoustic solutions for VRF / VRV SystemsTrue to the widespread use of VRV / VRF equipment are increasingly being used in areas with a dense construction method and are meeting the needs of the residents for quiet.
Our adaptable system solutions are compatible with most larger single units or units combinations. |
Flexible sound insulation for VRV / VRF Systems
VRF / VRV are on the advance and can in principle be used in all buildings that are to be cooled and / or heated in an energy-efficient manner.
In office buildings, hotels, boutiques, shops, medical practices, laboratories and in residential buildings, VRV / VRF systems are increasingly used for central air conditioning.
Due to the widespread use, VRF / VRV systems are more and more in areas with dense construction and encounter the quiet needs of the residents. This is where our modular acoustic hoods are used for soundproofing individual systems or groups of systems.
With a noise reduction of up to 25 dB (A), VRF / VRV systems can also be implemented in close proximity to the neighborhood.
Due to the modular design, existing system groups can also be easily retrofitted with a sound hood, which is designed for the corresponding system mass and air volume.
Of course, the acoustic hoods can also be installed in new systems. The sound hoods can be delivered disassembled or assembled.
The on-site assembly is simple and can be carried out by two people.

Acoustic Enclosure Basics Features
1) Enclosure base frame
Aluminum plug-in profiles with a thickness of 50 mm - assembly without screws in a few minutes. 2) Selectable air flow Designed for that air volume of the system (Mirrored construction) Hole size 1.5 x 1.5 cm for Prevention of ice formation. 3) Service doors Around the plant made of 1.5 mm aluminum with internal 40 mm sound insulation and Door locks for free access for service and maintenance work. 4) Air short circuit Horizontal division of the air chambers (air inlet / air outlet are hermetically separated in the hood (the separation is not mounted on the picture). 5) Air deflection At a 90° angle, the vibration of the air flow from the fans breaks, thereby significantly reducing the noise level. 6) Enclosure roof Can be dismantled like the service doors. Protect the system from rain, hail, snow and dirt. 7) Sound insulation Made of sound-absorbing closed-cell polyethylene foam panels with a thickness of 40 mm. Resistant to water and moisture. The insulation does not build up mold (fungi) and corresponds to fire protection class B1 (hardly inflammable). Optimal soundproofing over the Frequency band 65 – 8000 Hz 7) Fixing Holes in the base profile enable the acoustic hood to be fixed on the underside Sound hood lying foundation by means M8 or M10 threaded rods. 9) Air Inlet Flexibel posititioning of airinlets around the systems |
VRV / VRF enclosures - flexible, easy to assemble, effective in soundproofingOur VRF / VRV acoustic enclosures are based on a self-supporting frame construction made of aluminum profiles that can be set up very quickly and without special tools. In addition, the acoustic hoods can be installed on the construction site without any problems, even in tight spaces - i.e. passageways.
The air inlet is at the top or at the side so that the condensers are uniformly flowed against. The air is discharged through a sound baffle with an installation depth of 700 mm, which is installed over the entire fan surface in the roof. The “baffles” of the soundscape are made in an aerodynamic design so that the air resistance is as small as possible. The service doors around the system can be opened in seconds using quick-release fasteners. This means that the systems remain accessible for service and maintenance work without restriction and no additional maintenance intervals need to be taken into account when planning the systems. The service doors are made of 1.5 mm thick aluminum sheet, which is provided on the inside with an innovative 50 mm thick insulation made of closed-cell, semi-rigid and sound-absorbing polyethylene foam panels. Due to its sound-absorbing properties, this foam is one of the most innovative materials for sound control in HVAC systems. The insulation is UV, moisture and water resistant and does not build up bacteria or fungi and is fire resistant. |
