Standard Acoustic Enclosure Concept
The planning of our acoustic hoods is based on the following approaches:
Integration into the existing building structure through free choice of the RAL exterior color of the acoustic hood.
Our sound hoods are based on an aluminum snap-in frame construction to accommodate the air grilles for air inlet and outlet. Sound-insulated service doors made of aluminum with internal 40 mm sound insulation are inserted around the system. These service doors are equipped with locks that can be opened easily, so we ensure unhindered access to the systems for service and maintenance work.
You can choose the outer color of the sound hood from the RAL color palette at no extra charge. These service doors are equipped with locks that can be opened easily, so we ensure unhindered access to the systems for service and maintenance work. The integration of different air routing principles enables the integration of the sound hoods in different assembly situations. noise reduction We guarantee a noise reduction of 18 - 21 dB(A) across all frequency bands. The noise reduction is based on the following acoustic principles: sound insulation Prevention of sound reflection (which often occurs when building acoustic fences). refraction of air vibrations Avoidance of masking effects due to superimposed sound emissions.
The integration of various air routing principles enables the acoustic hoods to be integrated in different installation situations.
Sound (Noise) reduction
We guarantee a sound reduction of 16-18 dB (A) across all frequency bands. The sound reduction is based on the following acoustic principles:
Soundproofing Preventing sound reflection (which is common when building acoustic fences) / Refraction of air vibrations / Avoidance of masking effects due to overlapping sound emissions
Delivery
We deliver our acoustic hoods assembled or as a kit in a few parts that can be assembled on site without tools or special knowledge.
The delivery is carried out by a forwarding agency with unloading aid at ground level (no unloading on roofs). The delivery times are currently around 20 working days (4 weeks) for all sizes.
- The smallest possible dimensions of the acoustic hood, taking into account the air volume of the systems.
- Maximum possible sound insulation across all frequency bands, usually 60 - 70% airborne noise from the fans plus 40 - 30% compressor noise.
- Avoidance of system performance losses
- Unhindered access for service and maintenance
- Quick and easy assembly without special knowledge or tools.
